"Lasinthos" – The place of Gods

In Lasinthos, we bring the visitor in contact with nature, with the cultivation of land, the collection of the seeds and the possibility to get to know the animals of the Cretan countryside.

The visitor learns the secrets of the Cretan cuisine as he can watch the procedure of making home made jams, honey, wine, raki as well as the process of drying and standardizing sweet-smelling plants.

The visitor learns how to construct pottery and how to use the loom. We also offer our visitors, a wide range of farming and sport activities and we provide tours to old churches and archeological sites.
